I have a button on top of my shifter, it got disconnected. The plug has 4 prongs, there are only two wires . I'm thinking I can't fail . There is no info on the button and the wires are gray and black . But I want to make sure I can connect them to any prong on the button.
If you have a DMM you can test continuity between the terminals to determine which two to use... Test on/off positions... I assume the line lock is a solenoid in which case direction shouldn't matter, but I can't say for sure
