Sorry guys...... (clarification) yes we used OBX 1 7/8 SS headers and with Magnaflow catback exhaust.

We are working on the price for the kit, so I don't have those numbers yet.

The price of the hood is $700 plus Freight and you will have to cut in your own wiper sprayers.

We have the dyno sheets to prove the numbers!!!!! And of course you have to have the engine tuned. Trust me those are solid numbers for the E-Force supercharger. Heck I've got a 06 CTS-V with a LS7 making 620 and this car gives me a run for my money. If anyone was on the Hot Rod Power tour we had the car on display at Magnaflows trailer at every stop.

Maybe a silly question but are there more pictures of both the blower on the car and of the hood as well? Going this route is many moons away for me and still haven't decided if I am going to stay NA or go FI but it doesn't hurt to have all the info in advance!

So, are there any intentions of getting this CARB certified?

E-Force closer look (Small).jpgE-Force Closer look 1 (Small).jpgHere are some more pics of the supercharger.

CARB certified? I believe the answer to that is yes; but I put in a call to Edelbrock to verify.

The big issue with C.A.R.B. is that it is vehicle specific so Eddelbrock or whomever need a E.O.# for 04-05 CTS-V and 06-07 CTS-V. But i imagine it would definitely help sales of this kit.

I wonder how the engine will hold up to that much of an increase in output.

I'm pretty sure all of edlebrocks eforce kits are carb certified and 50 state legal. They are located in southern California after all. If the V kits isn't certified yet I'm sure it soon will be. I'd order one for sure.

Is the hood required? I thought the E-force fit under the stock hood.

It fits under the stock hood if you trim the inside of the stock hood.

Nice gains... With a good tune I don't see why it wouldn't give you plenty miles of fun... I bet you were able to add a few degrees of timing over a Maggie due to the efficiency...

The pictures seem to show clearance issues at the throttle body and intake tube. If I remember correctly, DMM trimmed the hood supports and insulation or something at that area, and it fit fine.

    Re: 04-07 CTS-V Edelbrock E-Force supercharger developed

Too bad this supercharger didn't come out back in '05. As it is, most LS6s are getting long in the tooth, but this is certainly a great development for the many who'd like to go FI. At $6-7k, this would be the way to go. At $7-8k, it might still be the way to go, assuming that 529 rwhp is representative and confirmed on other dynos.

Wonder if they'll make the instructions as good as Magnuson's.
'05 CTS-V, Maggie, Kooks, Hotchkis, Ground Control, Corsa, B&M, DSS/Hendrix, Full 3M Clear Bra, Autovation, V Headrests, CTS Console, STS-V 55w Fogs, Black Vette FRCs, Specter Werkes, Katech LS9 Clutch, SS Brake Lines, Heavymetals U-Turn Fuel Line Eliminator, Momo Combat Evo Shift Knob, Wldwhl Clear Sidemarkers, Linea Corse LC855 Wheels or OEM wheels w/'06-'07 Center Caps, plus a couple more. 472 RWHP/411 RWTQ (Mustang Dyno).
