To the OP, I have PS2 on now and they're more grip and better wear than the Goodyear F1 GS D3 that was on my V when I bought it. I really like the better grip of the Dunlop Star Specs but they went fast....and the PS2s just happen to be on the extra set of wheels that I bought. For all those people across other forums that I'm on love the PSS, it seems to be the current best bang for buck and grip (and mileage? ) tire out there.
I suppose you can get tire wear that "indicates" track/competitive use, they wouldn't really be able to "prove" it though.

I just pointed it out, so that people don't think they can buy a set of PSS, run them at the track a few weekends and go get a new set.

I'm betting it'd be on you to prove you weren't on track than the other way around. They would most certainly scrutinize why you're burning through them in less than their mileage rating

Though wouldn't it be awesome if it still lasted 30k mi with trackdays?

The track day wear looks a lot like aggressive canyon carving as well. They couldn't prove 100% if you were in a track or not, I wager.
