Many people on here use them. Those that do seem to be happy with them. Those that don't will tell you they are cheap, and you should go with a trusted brand like Kooks, Stainless Works, or B&B. The connection pipes seem to be somewhat of a hassle if you need cats.
I have them and love them. No complaints at all. Got the coated ones off of Amazon for $230 bucks, can't beat that! They were described as used, but came new in an unopened box.
I have the coated ones as well. Daily driver with two winters and they still shine with little to no corrosion. If you need cats you will need a muffled shop to install. I went with 3" hf cats in case I want to do custom exhaust down the road.
Watch amazon. They were on for really cheap this same time last year. I did the 30 day free upgrade for amazon prime and got free next day shipping. I got mine for around 270 as well. Be patient.
I have a coated set and love them! The cat issue is a PITA though because my magnaflow is stainless and the headers are steel making my welding gear insufficient. Running catless for the time being.
come on, Amazon! they're back up to $437.55 for coated. they were $375 recently and I waited, hoping they'd go down, not up! don't they know it's holiday gift time?!?
Yeah, the one's I got were the seldom times Amazon posts used items, but it was brand spanking new. I have no cats. I installed them the same time I did my Maggie. I am at 467rwhp/427rwtq at 8.5psi(2.7 pulley) on a Mustang Dyno.
How much is it costing you to go from a 3.6 to a 6.0? Seems like it could almost be cheaper to sell the 3.6 and buy a V. Not to mention easier... I give you props for taking up the challenge though. Good luck sir.
Yep, you can catch the pacesetters for $250 on Amazon from time to time. Scratch and dent BOXES with perfect product inside. I wont have time to install in the next 2-3 months so I am in no hurry, plus the more I can save the better; unless you fn money bags want to kick in. lol
I went with the armor coat. 40k miles and two salty winters in Pa and there is some pitting down near the collectors but for 270 they are worth it. Cool to the touch in 10-15 minutes
