How much is it costing you to go from a 3.6 to a 6.0? Seems like it could almost be cheaper to sell the 3.6 and buy a V. Not to mention easier... I give you props for taking up the challenge though. Good luck sir.

Got an engine, trans, driveshaft, differential, and axles for 2600 and 265 for shipping. 52k miles on the parts. 400 for dyno tuned ecu. 150 for fluids. 1000 for labor. Exhaust is almost 1000 : lt headers, or x pipe, cable cutouts, flowmaster 44, slp 4.125 dual wall tips.

The story behind this is that I blew multiple different rods in my cts 3.6. I have a 6 speed standard in the 3.6. Then my mechanic can outsource my parts and get about 75% of their discounted new parts value. So I should get a nice chunk back. Plus this will be a great ride and be a complete sleeper.

Yep, you can catch the pacesetters for $250 on Amazon from time to time. Scratch and dent BOXES with perfect product inside. I wont have time to install in the next 2-3 months so I am in no hurry, plus the more I can save the better; unless you fn money bags want to kick in. lol

To the guys that have the pacesetter headers, did you get the black painted set or the armor coated (ceramic coated) set?

Yes milled steel. You can coat them with header paint to avoid the rust.
