That's not what Janetty and Slowhawk say. Mine have been adjusted.

I'm sure fans are set with a combination of vehicle speed and coolant temp. You only want the fans on obviously at lower speed/idle conditions. It makes no sense to have them running at high speeds nor at lower speeds/idle when the coolant is below a specified temperature. That being said i don't remember what the stock thermostat setting is but my engine coolant temp never rose about 205-210 after 3 20 min HPDEs at Buttonwillow.

Ugh.. Away from home posting on my phone. I meant to write that the LS2 fan speed can ONLY be adjusted by coolant temp and NOT by vehicle speed.

The stock dual-fan fan assembly puts out 1650 CFM per fan, whereas your basic Zirgo ZFB16S ($120) puts out 3000 CFM per fan. And you can buy even better fans if need be. Ever consider offering a fan+radiator package?
What are the aftermarket fan options for the V? It's probably not super important on the V, but I came from the diesel world where I was all about cooling things off and keeping them cool... some old habits die hard?

I am going to need two...one for the V and one for the Turbo Buick. Any multi-purchase, muti-forum member discount in your sight's? LOL! You have been producing quality components for quite a long time and you have an excellent reputation. I would really be interested in the fan option as well, if made available. I am probably looking at spring time though...too many competing demands at the moment.

Not sure if a fan is necessary with the extra radiator size and capacity. The stock radiator/fan combo is not known for overheating, even in pretty crappy conditions. The only time I'd see a stronger fan as being necessary is if you lived in Nevada and did a lot of drag racing in a turbo car between stoplights during the summer.

Thanks Peter! I just ordered one on your website. Since I'm local I would like to pick it up when ready instead of paying for UPS shipping.

    Thanks,
    Brad

Where did you find that piece of data? I don't see anything in the FSM. That seems low for an OEM setup, particularly one designed to cool a big V8 in a cramped engine bay.

Good question. I don't have any formal evidence--just assorted posts from reputable guys like Vmapper over on the LS1Tech forum.

Example photos of a custom pusher fan assembly (courtesy of 93BlackBeast and his 970 RWHP Trans-Am on LS1Tech):

Thank you everyone for the orders. Everything will be shipping on Monday.
As fun as Seman can be, I'm on the plane back home and can't wait to get back to my wife and boys. Everyone have a great weekend. And thank you for your business.

The radiator is a work of art.

If you have a maggie, you might be better off taking off the front clip and disconnecting everything for the install.

It is a bitch with the intercooler in place, but it does fit.

Replace the hoses while your at it.
