Off eBay? A dealership is selling sets on eBay for the price shipped. That is a great price for those. However, the downside is if one fails (and I've heard they are prone to), you generally can't buy a single to replace, you can only buy another set of 4.

Yup, off ebay. It almost seems to be luck of the draw on these shocks as to how long they will last. My driving will be 90% street (albeit moderately agressive mountain road carving thrown in there) so I would hope to see decent longevity. That being said, I've read of fellas swapping out the fronts to FE4s after failure with no real appreciable difference unless tracking their cars hard.

Throw in a GC kit and for $1400 should have a decent all new setup. Best bang for my (performance street driving) buck?

    Cheers,

    E

I paid $1k and thought I got a decent deal ... not great, but decent.

I went FG2s and GC. Good improvement over stock if you go lower than stock ride height. I dialed my front end back up to stock height and it is now too soft. Going back lower this weekend.

BTW - I went higher only to remove some of the toe in. I'm waiting on my new wheels and tires before getting this thing aligned.
