What sales do you know of? I saw Maryland Speed was doing free coating right now. Prolly going to do something catted as I drive this everyday and don't want it horribly loud at highway speeds.

Picked up my 06 had full hooks and exhaust. No tune it ran fine though, got expectable gas mileage as any stock car I have seen reported. I just did a w4m mail order tune and it run a little better but nothing dramatic, as it seemed to run great before. In the rush of the moment I can't tell if it's faster as it's tough to compare another 25hp when you already have 340ish. Part throttle seems better. Only have a half tank of commuting mileage on it with 87 octane in it - called up Jesse at W4M and he says I gotta run premium in the LS2 - despite what I've heard about the knock sensor?

Find someone who will tune headers and then lessen the hit on a re-tune with a H&C package (sell stock heads). That's my plan.

Use 91+ octane. 87 isn't saving you any $. Pulls timing to lesser octane to make less power and you run it harder to use more fuel... do the math, $.30/gal x 15 gals or so...it's less than $5. Buy a different car if you cant spend $5.

exhaust - idk bout tune afterwards. My rear O2s are turned off and I don't get any alarms or funny noises. I contacted a professional tuner and was quoted at $500 and he uses a Mustang dyno and HP tuner. My car runs so good after my exhaust that I'm skeptical about a tune - not sure what it will give and if it's worth the price.

    If cam..then tune.

It will clean up your afr and allow for more timing. Along with things like making throttle response better. It all depends on how good the tuner is though.
