I don't have the sets, he ships them.
But what I'm saying is that the stock gap should be covered up by the new bushing. Regardless if the bushing itself is thicker, it should all be flush once together. The bushing should sit flush up into the cradle all around and then the washer sits up against the other side of the bushing flush all around.
If your washer is bending as you tighten it up then one side is getting hung up and not tightening up evenly

OK, did some more looking. As you can see the bushing is taller than the stock one. So when I tighten it down the middle of the stock washer has a gap and therefore deforms. The bottom picture is not fully seated so the gap is more pronounced. From how I understand you the delrin bushing should be in-line with the stock metal sleeve.

So what you're saying is the washer is pulling into that void in the center and bowing the washer up on the edges? Is it happening on both sides or just the one? That would be the telltale sign because it may just be installed wrong.
You'll have to drop it to make sure the tops and bottoms aren't reversed or vise versa.

Exactly....All four do this but the fronts are closer. Is there a difference between the top and bottom ? IIRC they were both the same.

You got it. There are tops and bottoms. The tabs are different sizes to make up for the voids. My guess is they are just reversed. I can't remember which tab went where. Hopefully someone will chime in as to which ones go on top/bottom

Re: Interest in Delrin Cradle Bushings ?

When I installed mine, I don't remember there being an issue finding which was the top or bottom. I believe I test fitted both to ensure a good fitment. I used a jack to press the top and bottom together (tons of Prothane grease), put some anti-seize on that bolt and hand threaded it in there. Then I torqued it all down.

I believe I installed the fronts first then the rears. I had to loosen the cradle in the front again to do the rears but the Delrin inserts were firmly seated and uniform gap all around.

At no point do I recall the washer starting to go concave.

The only difficult task I had (6/10) was making sure the Delrin stayed seated and uniform when I was pressing them together using a jack. They wanted to keep popping out and it made things really messy with the Prothane grease getting all over my parts. It was like trying to install an oversize o-ring - popping out all over the corners etc. Once they're in there and pressed firmly together, they stayed put.

My suggestions would be to correctly identify the tops/bottom, take measurements of the Delrin thicknesses and compare that with the OEM rubber thickness. The top OEM rubber measurement might be difficult to access depending how much you are dropping it but the bottoms should be a piece of cake to measure.

If its not top to bottom than it is front to back but I remember there was a reason for the different tabs...

IIRC the big ones go into the front mounts and the smaller diameter ones go into the rear. It may take a bit of force to go into the soft section of the cradle as well. Just make sure they're aligned properly, ie the male tabs will index into the female portion of the soft bushings

Any 06-07 bushing inserts? How do these compare in performance to replacing the bushings with the revshift polyurethane, besides easier install?
