It'd be nice to load your pics onto photobucket so you can upload larger pics within the post. Nice job, car looks sick.

Can you post a bigger before and after? Also can you host the pdf on google docs or something? or maybe email it? For some reason when I go to print them, i get small pictures.

Thanks for the all comments! Just wanted to quickly address some feedback.

Also can you host the pdf on google docs or something?

I'm working on that. Believe or not, I don't have an account. I'll load them on photobucket soon. Right now got the car on a set of raceramps and wheel cribs - doing the SW exhaust motor & tranny mounts. Wrapping those headers took 3 hrs with 8 beers...

Your beer to time ratio seems rather troubling. I would expect a 3 hour job to be in the range of a 12 pack. Due to fluids lost while sweating.

Good write up. If I go with KWs I will definitely look this up, subscribed.

Yeah, I lost my buzz in the middle of it all. My calm was damaged when my header wrap started to look like an exploded fishing line...

Here's a pic of the finished header wrap:

Although not evident, I reinforced the metal tie wraps with .032" lockwire. My opinion...lockwire > SS tie wraps. For those not familiar with lockwire, you need lockwire pliers and of course lockwire...0.032" and 0.012". Commonly used with aircraft engines - yeah, plenty of experience.

you mentioned after 1 week the car has dropped below kw's minimum allowable for ride height, is that what is pictured in your post with the car on ramps?

I measured the car on a flat surface, in the same garage bay off the ramps after one week of driving ~50 miles. It is on ramps right now for doing the headers+rest of exhaust. Once finished with exhaust this weekend, I'll edit that post and update as I adjust the height in the front.

Looking forward to it. Undecided on the kw's or the d2 mentioned in another thread. The car will see a few trackdays but mostly is street driven so the stance and ride height is important. Do you plan on lowering more or raising it back up?
