Kicked it up a notch (afr heads)

Just got these bad boys delivered: My whipple will be sitting on top of these; AFR 230cc strip heads 72cc chambers
    8019 springs

    Cometic head gaskets

    Arp head studs

    Yella terra rockers

Here's a pic of homemade motor mounts, bushing is made of teflon. They are gonna replace my collapsed CS mounts.

Now I just got to order lifters, trays, dowel pins and a pushrod length checker.

Probably won't be doing the install until fall sometime, but figured I'd post up a teaser.

    Looks killer!

What lifters/trays are you going with?

Let me know what size your pushrods end up coming out to.

They started melting pretty quick, I've had them in for about 3 years of seasonal driving, this summer I now feel my headers vibrating my steering shaft. When i looked at them last, they are done.

Probably going with LS7 lifters and trays. Won't be for a while berfore I mock them up to measure push rods.

I went with LS7 lifters and just reused my existing trays. I should be getting my Manton pushrods today. We have similar setups (me without the blower though) so was curious what you were doing. I measured 7.400 for pushrods @ .060 preload so after talking to Manton, I went with 7.395.
