Sorry, but my vote is still for the Mantons. But it is your money...........

Is this what you mean when you say the fuel rail sits on spacers?

I'll try and find some at a hardware store. Fast wants too much for those bolts/spacers

It depends in your injectors. Measure the gap and measure an injector. It will either be spot on or the injector will be 1/2" too long.

They are the tall injectors, so I'll be needing the 1/2" spacers fo sho.

We use comp 5/16" on all of our normal (read: not strictly racing) builds and have never had an issue, but I certainly won't disagree with darkman, overkill will not hurt you in this area. Also if your goals will take you up above 7k rpms then I would go 11/32. FO SHOO

Yes. (I got the Series 5, but that is definitely overkill.)

    Thank you Sir.

Since they are only $12/piece for racers and only $10 for jobbers, I'm not sure where Mamo is coming up with $210? Plus $15 for shipping?

I ordered mine directly from Manton. They were great to deal with. When I had some questions, they put Manton on the phone.

Or will the 1.7 Yella Terras that I have clear the factory covers with OEM gaskets?

    Re: $hit just got real!

Yella Terras are supposed to clear the stock valve covers.

(So were my Jesels, but I did have to Dremel one rivet on the inside of one cover. Scared me to death as it sounded like a rod coming through the block.)

    Re: $hit just got real!

Correct they are supposed to. Mamo couldn't verify, so i got the thicker gaskets from Mamo. Good ifo on pushrods, as i'll be making the same choices soon.

    Re: $hit just got real!

Trukk runs Yella Terras. His write-up indicated that the Yella Terras in 1.7 ratio will fit under the valve covers without modification.
