    Magnaflow X-Pipe?

For those of you using an x-pipe, anyone using this Magnaflow pipe? Just wondering if it fits...2007. I can't remember the exact size, but if I recall correctly, the stock resonator is longer than 12". Someone set me straight!

    Re: Magnaflow X-Pipe?

I have the Magna Flow catback system which includes their X-pipe, but my car is a 2004. My Magna Flow part number is 16636. Your system looks similar on their site but the part number for a 2007 is 16637. Both show an X-pipe. Hope this helps.

I have it on a 05' installed into the stock system in place of the resonator. I would think it fits an 07??!!

Definitely. I'm sure I could make it fit. I just couldn't remember if the stock Res was longer than the 13" X pipe. I figured it was, just wanted to be sure.

The res is longer, my muffler guys had to add in some straight pipe to connect everything together.

Stock resonator has an X pipe inside it already.

Indeed it does. But I presume it's much more restrictive than the Magnaflow X-pipe.

Perhaps sound-wise. I doubt it would make enough of a difference in flow to have noticeable performance gain.

Possibly. Just curious to see if anyone on here is using one and whether or not they've got some measurables.

    Re: Magnaflow X-Pipe?

Bump on this thread? I have TPIS headers and high flow CATs feeding into the stock resonator and mufflers. Looking to delete the factory resonator to increase exhaust volume and replace with an X-pipe. The magnaflow x-pipe is $100 and it'll probably cost $40 or less to have it welded in place.

Any feedback on whether this is worth it or should I go straight to electronic cutouts installed just before the mufflers, leaving the resonator in place?

Didn't realize it was a link, thanks! For anyone shopping for one of these, they're $75 at performancepeddler.com Just have to create an account / sign in to be able to "make an offer" on they're advertised prices. Offer $1 and it goes from $95 to the "best price" of $75.
