They told me it was a cross between gunmetal and silver on the titanium. But I just had to have black for my black V.

Should have went with RS3 tires. I love those things. Had really good luck with them on my last car.

I almost wanted to get either those or the Bridgestone RE-11's, but they're a lot more expensive and I know they wouldn't last very long with that soft of a compound. I plan to do a couple track days and auto crossesand i know they're not the best for that but for mostly street driving they should last and they're cheap!

I had a 40 mile each way commute and ran at the Fontana 'Roval' and at a few track days on small tracks and mine lasted for 20k miles. Which for a performance tire like a rs3 is darn good. The car they were on was lighter by quite a bit but I drove it real aggressively.

RS3's are definitely a great tire in the dry, slightly better than the RE-11's. But if you see any kind of rain driving you will never want to be on RS3's. RE-11's are great in the rain.

I found with the RE-11's I've driven two summers on them roughly 20k including autocross' and aggressive street driving and they are still at half tread depth. so another 2 summer out of them will be great. I had Falken Azenis RT-615 prior to the RE-11's and those were toast after two summers of similar driving. I don't think the RS3's would last as long as the RE-11's but they are great for "dry only" tires. Going with the RE-11's I don't feel like I made any compromises. They ride better, have almost the same amount of dry grip and are 10000x better in the rain, An all around excellent summer tire.

Your car looks badass. Love your plate too. If you still don't like em after a while you can always get them re-powder coated!

245/40/19 and 275/35/19 is what is recommended.

Forgestar still has titanium and brushed titanium wheel still in stock ready to ship

Just to dispel any rumors regarding Forgestar not making any more of these wheels: Peter @ Forgestar just told me that they have 30 pieces in stock beyond what their vendors have. They aren't making more right now because they have plenty available.

Just got my gunmetal's in from mod bargains, took about 7wks. In reading this entire thread last night the hankook V12's are going on. Really sucks about the rear Ctr cap sticking out...anyone got a shot of that?.

Env...you need bright yellow calipers for some contrast, looks good tho.

You have to saw a couple of threads off with a Sawzall. There's no reason to have that much excess thread--it's like Frankenstein. If you want the exact thread count necessary, let me know and I'll search for my old post.

Does anyone with these wheels live in the Bay Area, Northern CA? I would really like to see them in
    person before buying a set.

    Thanks, Brad
