First I've (or anyone else) has heard. Too bad just about everyone cut their shaft.

I'm not sorry. I think those center caps look bad. I'd prefer that they fit flush.

Ouch! I've cut my fingers for the V before but this takes things to a whole new level!

Has anyone seen a finished wheel with this raised center cap? Just curious how bad it is, I've just placed my order yesterday and was planning on the original center caps

Re: Forgestar F14 Wheels Entering Production (6x115 - FINALLY!)

I placed an order with Tire Rack in October for some BFG Comp 2s in the 245/40 and 285/35 sizes. The rears were on back order at the time but had a reasonable availability date. However, they started pushing back the available date multiple times with the latest date in mid January. Meanwhile, my rear tires on are down to the cords. So, I have had some time to think about it and before I change my order I was wondering, do any of you who installed the 285's have any regrets with regard to appearance or fitment? If you had to do over would you opt for the 275's instead? Also, Hankook Ventus V12 or Kumho Ecsta SPT? Thanks!

I would think it's pretty much a toss-up between the SPTs and V12s.

OK, so I didn't get any negative feedback on getting the 285s or read about any rubbing issues so I went with V12's in that size for the rear. I just checked the inside of the rear fender lips and found tire rubber. Am I the only one?

If you're lowered too far, you will get a little rubbing back there until you fix it.
