BTW, I've had these on my V for over a week now and have had zero rubbing, which I'm VERY happy about. I even got the wider 285's on the rears.

I hope those rear center-cap are being drafted up. I'm guessing they haven't even had time to start that though

My piano black wheels are nearing completion. Should be here in about two weeks.

Doubtful on lowering the car. Probably won't drop anymore coin into this car. V2 around the corner. Regardless, the car's stance as it is isn't bad at all. Dropped would look great, but it's not the "monster truck" effect that other cars have.

Agreed, I thought there would be a lot of wheel-gap and there was some when I first put the Forgestars on the car but then it seemed to settle a bit after driving it some and now there isn't much gap at all, though less would look better. I think they look great overall with the stock suspension.

Re: Forgestar F14 Wheels Entering Production (6x115 - FINALLY!)

My wheels came in late this evening. They look awesome. I popped one of the boxes open briefly to take a picture or two before getting everything ready to go to the shop. I'll do a lot of pictures later when I have time (read: when I'm less exhausted from work) to clean the dust and fingerprints off a wheel. I hope to have them mounted by Friday afternoon.

As I mentioned to some of you earlier, I installed slotted DRT rotors with black powdercoated hats. $405 out the door. These things are significantly better quality than the Brembo brake blanks that came with the car. 1.4 lbs heavier in the front and 0.6 lbs heavier in the back. I don't know how much of that weight differential is due to wear and tear on the Brembo blanks, but I measured them with a digital caliper and found that they were one or two millimeters below the replacement spec.

Anyone cut the rear axle bolt yet so the center cap will fit? If so, please share details. Thanks.

I cut mine, but haven't installed the wheels yet. I'll post pictures and impressions as soon as I have time to get the wheels on the car.

Does anyone know if forgestar plans on making these with a machined face and black back?

They don't have any plans to, but I could ask if you're really serious.

Sorry about the wait, guys. I've been working multiple modifications simultaneously, so this one has been progressing slowly. I've finished my first protective coating on the wheels (Klasse Sealant Glaze and will apply the second layer, buff, and install tonight. Pictures will probably have to wait until tomorrow. Here's what they're doing right now:
