Work being performed by yooper motorsports. Cooling is for oils, water, and brakes-wheel bearings. Driver gets plenty of cooling with no side windows at 150 plus.
Won't be as pretty as Project VANQUISH, but should make a good chase car for video's
Who will be on track first? zzilla or yooper??

I thought Mythbusters identified that fuel economy is better with the A/C on and the windows up at highway speeds. Wouldn't that indicate that you'd be faster with some sort of windows (as opposed to having nothing there) to prevent turbulent airflow along the sides of the car at 150+ mph?

Yes, unfortunately the track requires side windows to be down.

What about some kind of air deflectors to push the flow away from the windows? Are those allowed?

Yes, if your class rules allow, no limit on the aero.

Well this half-assed shop finally got the track car off to the tuner. Really need some seat time soon, too much family drama!

Yes, I had RPM Trans install internal pumps in both the trans and diff. Uses the inertia of the drivetrain to run the pumps while fluid is plumbed to a dual fluid cooler. The fan is on/off on the dash. Air is drawn from naca ducts to fan/cooler enclosure eliminating exhaust getting into car. I will start another thread regarding build of the chevy with the Cadillac motor.
