Has anyone who isn't really trying to exceed 800whp considered going with the d1? Stock cubes and the d1 seem to pair up really well.

D1sc was my plan all along. Also p1sc would work also but thats for people who only want to hit 500

P1 on a stock ls2 will top out at around 700 HP maxed out.. d1 around 800.... But it's really about the cubic inch and compression ratio on where the numbers come in at.

Yes you areright about that. But keep in mind if you are shooting for 600hp p1sc will heat the air more than d1sc causing you to have to not be able to run timing as much as you would with a cooler charge.

Yes and that's why we are using a meth kit now but it ran on 694 hp fine without the meth. I would recommend the d1 over the p1. But really in these cars anything over 550 hp you are pushing it without fuel upgrade. It's all up to what your goals are budget and so on.

I haven't looked into this cars fuel pump setup but I will probable make it a return setup for sure. I know on my GTO it was pretty simple to do with just cutting the bucket. Though in two pump one feeding the bucket one feeding the fuel rails. Most other GM vehicles are setup with the some bucket and I'm hoping the V has the same style bucket. I'm not looking to go over 550-600 HP for some time and 750 HP max in the further. I want a fast street car so no need for much more.

No I don't have the farther on the V yet it's just not my first ls car I have had a few GTO and a vette and pretty much done the same thing to them. I want to do to the V. The V has all the thing I liked about my other cars in one. I hope to start installing the charger over the winter months.
