It's a C5R Hardbar shift knob that I drilled out and put in a set screw.

sounds like a plan, my car is a DD/ weekend track toy. I do enjoy the handling setup on a day to day basis and i have grown bored
with the stock seats and no support. I simply want to see how they fit in the car and more importantly how they are to sit in. Ideas for mounting would be a great head start too.

The resistor for the air bags you say...? where do you get that?! Also is there anything needed for install? I plan on putting in a set of sparcos soon.

Ooops sorry I didn't see your post. I'll get back to you. I am thinking of taking my V off the street this year so I'll be moving to a full race seat. I'll make sure you get a look at the Chronos seats I have now.

    .
I picked up a GTO to do a twin turbo setup as UPP has a $5K kit and was working on the suspension and brakes and thought I'd check in. Good to see you still hanging in there.

so...have the airbag resistors been figured out? I really would like the light to be off and still have the function of the other airbags!!!?

Re: Sparco seats winter project (PICS)

Did you ever figure out a solid, easy way to mount three points (I might have missed it)? I should be taking my car in for roll bar and seat install next week. I'll just use the 6 points for now I guess, but a three point traditional belt setup would be ideal to have as well for obvious reasons.

    ...and the airbag question too.

Never got around to it but the Wesco Performance thing is still the best bet I think. If you haven't bought the belts yet, you can try the Schroth Profi ASMs. You can wear them as both a 4 or 6 point due to the anti sub shoulder strap. The 4 would make street driving a bit easier. Im switching my Chronos seats out to the EVO2 US fixed back seats since my car seldom sees the street anymore. I do love those Chronos seats though. I'd love top see your set up. Post up some pics. Also, who did the roll bar?

I'm taking it to the shop next week so I don't have anything done yet. I'll be sure to post up some pics and more info once everything is taken care of. I went with just the regular Evos. They're snug, but I guess it's good incentive to get/stay in shape. lol

Good info about those harnesses. I've already picked up a couple of the Schroth Clubmans or whatever they're called.
