Also, I'm gonna have the black interior parts if you'd like to swap

It's a C5R Hardbar shift knob that I drilled out and put in a set screw. I like the way it feels.

Thanks for the interior offer Chris. I'm going to see how the whole thing looks when I'm done. Since I'm fabbing up some covers for the rear seat delete, which will be covered in 3M DiNoc, most of the interior will be black except the carpet and headliner.

The stock seats are pretty hefty. You have to strain to pick one up by yourself.

Looks good, very good. I will need to mount mine all the way back and right on the floor. After reviewing the Chase Cam data I am not going on track again until seats, harness, and some kind of harness/roll bar are in my car. The 137 to 138 mph on the straights are ok, but the speeds in the braking zones and corners raise the pucker factor.

Frankly, I never look at the dash while on track, wish I hadn't rented the Chase Cam. Man I love this car.

Re: Sparco seats winter project (PICS)

Yep gotta say, I've been in straight track cars the past few races until I ran the V this past week and my knee is all bruised from bracing myself and my wrists were killing me. And thats even with the CG Lock.
Stock seats do weigh a ton. Been bouncing between Sparco and Recaro's for my car. Still unsure, but the carbon ones only weigh between 10-20lbs...

I had that same thought, my left knee and wrist were shot after my track day. I wonder how smaller people dont get toss around more while tracking in our seats. I am a im dude and I moved alot.

My right knee is always the one bruised up after a day at the track.

I'm interested in your rear seat delete as well. It would be nice to clean up the area back there (my seats have been out for a while).

The Sparcos are not that expensive, but the dealer i went to was ULTRA slow...You have to be more persistant to get the deal...

The seats are a tad smaller width wise but look perfect for the V. The Sparco is only set in place on the floor since I haven't taken delivery of the seat sliders and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the (base) rails. Naf and Norm V used the stock rails which is an option, however I want to make sure I can get the seat lower to the floor to allow for some decent helmet clearance. I'll explore a universal rail kit before I decide. I promised not to start this project until much later but I was anxious to get a look.

you converting to right hand drive?

I'm gonna sit in the right hand seat and let someone else drive my car on track.
