I found 2 sites that have these listed still for 250. Are you still interesting in splitting a set. I just installed the kw's so thought this would be a good time to freshen things up for the mounts.

I'm interested in splitting a pair. Fairly certain that the squeaking I'm experiencing on the right rear is due to the existing mount. Tried lubricating all rubber parts with silicon to no avail. If you're interested, drop me a line.

In the meantime, I'm going to ensure that I'm not throwing money at an issue that doesn't exist, but it's hard to drive the car and find the squeak at the same time.

Get them quick. As you know they don't make them anymore so this would be the last stock.

Ichpen, can you characterize the squeaking sound you had? I'm getting a squeak on about 1/4 of the smaller bumps I hit. It's coming from the rear, and I wonder if it isn't the bump stop rubbing due to the fact that this CTS-V is lowered by about 1.5".

which one? I had quite a collection.

Worst one was probably from the trailing arm bushings.
Then upper shock rubber piece was squeeking like hell. The pfadt mounts resolved that. Not sure what other one you're referring to is.

You can check if you're hitting the bump stop by dabbing some putty/paste/sticky liquid only on the bump stop. Drive car around to places where you think you're bottoming out. Check if paste/putty has transferred to your shock body, if it has you've hit the bump stop. If it hasn't you're not hitting it.

Heavymetals mentioned in his thready that AST makes upper shock mounts for the tune of about 300 bucks

Ya they look nice except 125 bucks for mounts vs 300 changes my interest level. Also there was a warning on there about nvh on a street driven car and my better half already thinks the V is too harsh.

It is what it is, race car shit is always expensive. It all comes back to how much you want to spend and how much you want to compromise.

Vorshlag Motorsports has the BMW E30/E36/E46 AST rear top mounts for $179. Still more than $125, but a lot easier on the wallet than $300.

Now, I don't know if they'll actually work on our struts, and I wasn't clear from heavymetals' post over on LS1tech if he was using a Pfadt set or an AST set.

I searched and searched and can't find a set. If someone's sitting on a link to a supplier with a couple left in stock, would you mind passing it along?
