These move the rear spring, on to the shock. Because of the difference in wheel rate, there is no need for such a stiff spring in the rear.

100% bolt in, no cutting, grinding, or welding. The biggest job is removing the upper front shock mount, which is rubber. The new mount bolts right in, just like the LG Motorsports Vette kit.

As for adjustable, thats many many months ahead, but it will be based on the Vette system again, which is single adjustable.

Here is what was posted by GSS

These will lower the car as low as you can go, before mechanical limitations set in- IE the A-Arm binds in the rear, and the upper a-arm binds on the chassis in the front. There is still shock travel to be had, so they will go as low as you can get them to go.

Spring rates are in the 7xx/4xx range. These are prototypes, so rates may change when we get track time on it.

Pricing will be 1990$ initially if we can get 3 sets, and 2295 after the intro.

    My thoughts exactly.

But LGM does know their shiznit, so at least he's going with a setup which nobody has ever tried or had any experience with put together by a reputable company.

Good luck with the project. LG will do a good job for you.
Long story on this topic, I searched for a local/Dallas V with coilovers and did not find one. (I really wanted a test drive) So I started to searched for a shop to do the installation, LG Motorsports was on the short list of shops. After I talked with Louis, he wanted to install his own superior and race test parts over someone else's parts. HARD to say no to that...

Louis described the benefits of the (what I call) "true" or 4 corner coilover system I really knew then I found the right shop and the right guy to get the car setup properly, not just throw a bunch of parts on the car.

A few of you asked and Louis told me the shocks he's using are 100% rebuildable.

And starting with a reputable shock. Bilstein is another plus.

I got my V back today
and I took the long way home...and it was a blast

I need to find more twisty roads in the DFW area, did they make any in DFW?

The car drove very very smooth firm without being harsh and no noise

If want you like a test ride, pls PM me, but I'm going to limit drives to the DFW area
........UNLESS you want to pay my way to Laguna Seca....

Any more updates? I am interested in this setup. My factory shocks squeak and crack like crazy if someone sits in the backseat.

Re: CTS-V Coilovers from LG Motorsports

Drove the V alot on Saturday afternoon
uneven side streets, stops lights, freeways, on ramps!!
It's ALL good, still no noise, no vibrations.

Ride quality: the Caddy softness is gone and replaced with firmness.
trying to find the right words.
I took a friend out for a test and nailed a few corners, very little body roll
    ......I have Hotchkis sway bars.......

My wife said she did not feel a difference in ride quailty
.......we were on side streets and on the freeway....but no high G's corners

Thx. My wifes bimmer feels stiffer but not harsh. It actually feels more planted and surefooted than my v. I hate driving her car and then getting back in mine. I hate how poorly my v handles compared to her bmw.

Must be. The rear end cluck, body roll, popping and creaking noisese are really annoying.

I'm getting ready to 80k on mine. Maggie, LT headers, Magnaflow exhaust, DSS axles, short throw shifter, and Racing Brakes 2pc rotors. I think it is time to swap all the mounts and suspension at this point. It sounds like a damn log truck with all the clunking.
