    Racing Eyes / Tow straps

It seems we are out of luck with a proper kit that suits our vehicle for a towing eye. I know of one location under the car, but its a pain to get to and if you are not careful you will damage your front lip.

I am lookin for a kit and more likely will install a strap around the from bumper. There are enough bolts holdin it on place, and if i am not mistaken there are more holdin the bumper in place then the frames to the car...

    Will keep you all posted...

I have seen photos of proper tow hooks on a V (in the front) but have not figured out how it was done.

Re: Racing Eyes / Tow straps

Well i ordered two orange straps and two red straps...Will see which matched my car the best. Both are MSA approved and can handle 5000lb pulls. Now when you pull horizontal you are not carryin the weight of the car, unless you are lifting it off the ground. Either way i am covered...My car is lightened...

Also got a 102 5 ply elbow to resist collapsing under high vacuum demands.

Talked with a buddy of mine here and i will install the front one on the passenger side and the rear one on the drivers side....Also lookin to relocate the front license plate so insure proper air flow through the oil cooler and PS cooler.
