    I'm also interested how they'd sound with stock exhaust. I've never heard a V1 with headers in person..I know, boooo.

    I want the deeper tone and meaner idle, and of course the roar during acceleration...but if it's significantly louder in the cabin I may have to keep dreaming.

    There's a V2 around here with headers and corsa and it sounds like a funny car..

    Edmund, good suggestion on the RTV. I coated the insides with anti-seize for the time being. As for the bandclamps, they could be tighter. But the only way the flanges will be moving is if the header falls of or the exhaust falls off!!! Those things barely move with a hammer.

    when doing the driver side what did u do about the steering shaft im doing headers now but got stuck there

    Just pop the steering shaft off the rack and move it to the side, slide the header in past the shaft and re-attach shaft to rack.
