Interesting thread thus far. I'm thinking currently that I want to run a cam that will give me the most useable road course power for now as for NASA Time Trial that's a 6 point mod (and at my weight to stay in TTB I can make up to 430 rwhp), but any aftermarket forced induction requires a dyno reclass. Then down the road when my engine goes (knock on wood that is no time soon. Currently 105k miles on it), I swap to LS3/7 based build.

I have a newbie question - this discussion of "cam vs. FI" makes it sound like it's an "either/or" situation. I have a cam in my car (LS2 CheaTR cam, 215/230 .629/.592 117 LSA) and I'm adding B&B headers and exhaust this month - but is there any reason why I couldn't also add a Maggie at some point?
That particular cam would work very well with a Maggie.

Thanks, darkman! What is it about the specs of this cam that makes it work well with a Maggie?

    Thanks again.

No, no FI for me yet. Probably not for a while, if at all - but the B&B headers and exhaust should go on this month. I will have some dyno results then.
