    Was cylinder number 8 this time. Cleanly sheared off. Took out the IAT sensor with it. Fun times. Now scratching head as to where I can get the maggie iat sensor. Need to dig up that aftermarket thermistor part number again.

    It is just a GM part as I had to get one for my setup. Let me see what I can find in my records.

    EDIT: Part # 12160244 Found here --->http://paceperformance.com/i-5118475...nd-trucks.html

    Thanks sir. Found the part number and replaced it. One day I'll have to fish the old one out of the valley one day.

    All well for the time being.

    Re: keep busting rocker arms

    Small update. Given that none of the shops/folks I've talked to have any clue as to what's going on, I'm going to try to go back to stock rockers. They're cheap enough and from what I've heard still offer excellent performance (given they're lighter than 90% of aftermarket rocker arms). More importantly, I never busted one of those.

    I'll keep the tea dual gold springs and hardened pushrods and just switch the rockers. Will see how that goes. Thanks for the opinions gents.

    Did you ever try an adjustable pushrod and measure what you need?

    No, need to get the adjustment pushrod thingymabob. Maybe I'll measure it up when I'm doing the swap.

    There are different styles of measurement pushrods. Make sure you use the correct one for the brand/style pushrod you are using, if not you could be off by as much as .017". i.e. the Comp Magnum's use a different measurement than the Comp Hi-Tech push rods when ordering them. Here's some reading on them:
