While the A/C Compressor is about right, I've shipped my brake pedal assembly as well as all of the cables and I'm pretty sure it was under 10lbs

Hi Randy and Chris! Roofless V-Series guys unite! Chris is Vx2?! Six hundred miles per week has mine parked for 400 HP turbo-4's that see 40's mpg.

I picked up a GTO to do a twin turbo setup as UPP has a $5K kit and was working on the suspension and brakes and thought I'd check in.

Don't be such a stranger. Sounds like you're busy.

Change out the factory nav unit with a parrot smart asteroid http://www.parrot.com/usa/products/a...asteroid-smart and you shave about 8 pounds and have a way better head unit.

    Re: Weight Reduction Checklist

    Couple of things to add.
    • FG2 rear shock body: 7.4 lbs each, 8.0" circumference
    • FG2 front shock body: x.x lbs each, x.x" circumference
    • KW Variant 3 rear shock body: 6.0 lbs each, 6.25" circumference
    • KW Variant 3 front shock body: 8.6 lbs each, 6.25" circumference
    • OEM motor mount: 5.0 lbs
    • Creative Steel motor mount: 2.0 lbs
    • Hotchkis 2280 front sway bar: 9.0 lbs
    • Hotchkis 2280 rear sway bar: 7.4 lbs
    • Addco 2290 front sway bar: 28.5 lbs
    • Addco 2289 rear sway bar: 14.4 lbs
    • AD244 alternator: 14.5 lbs

Do you think we should create a sticky that compiles all of the weight information we've compiled thus far?

    Re: V1 weight reduction

Long drawn out process. I had a shop do mine as there are certain wires that will render the car useless without them...
