No way the Corsa system is only 30 lbs. I've had it off on a few occassions. I guess it's possible but it sure didn't seem that light.

    Re: Weight Reduction Checklist

In all honesty, the Ti catback minus the midpipe section weights nuttin...

I have the corsa H pipe Resonator, which is a total waste of time, so i replaced it with a more ear pleasing muffler.

Am waitin on the Kooks vette x-pipes to redo my midpipe section to be more drone free...

I checked with spector werkes. They make a carbon fiber decklid. It is bare carbon fiber. By the time it was cleared and finished it was $2400.00!
BTW I bought 18" Team Dynamics wheels for $1050.00
And where do you find a carbon fiber hood for $1695.00? I was told that that was bare carbon fiber as well. But maybe that is what you are looking for.

For $16k, just buy a LSA and you won't have to shed any weight

Ouch. I would love to have both. These are the type of parts that hurt when you see how cheap they are for other cars.

    Re: Weight Reduction Checklist

Specter Werks are the best at what they do.

I have two rear decklids, one for the street then other for the track. The one for the track has the APR SCCA spoiler on it and SWS reinforced it to handle the added stresses.

They also make CF front fenders which is good for a few Lb up front. And as for the NAF inspired hood. Its all CF with HUGE LOUVERS for the best heat extraction at any speed. Ambient temp is 55c and my rad/oil temp cruising around the city is only 85c with a 160f stat. Once i hit the highway they both drop to 80c and hold...

Lookin to build a misting system to inject water infront of the oil cooler and condensor for added cooling power at high RPM. May even add one noozle in the stream of air going to the CAI.

    NAF,
What was the cost on your hood? I would like to do your hood but in the carbon fiber look. Same with the lid. I have a Redline, I want the hood, lid and do a carbon fiber laminant on the roof. I think it would be sick!

    Re: Weight Reduction Checklist

Cool. I had mine done last summer. It was at the track and I don't have coilovers so it was just to see the weight. I'll find the info and post it up here.
