    Gto TVS 1900 on an ls2 CTS-V?

    LS2 GTO TVS 1900 maggie on a LS2 CTS-V, why not?

Belt routing is the same, everything else is relatively the same. The only thing that I could see would be the harmonic balancer spacing( i think they are different) anyway around it without changing all the accessories over to GTO?
I want a supercharger, but don't want to be limited to the mp112. From what I understand is the TVS 1900 should be a perfect fit.

You'll probably need a new hood for clearance.

Lingenfelter(if I remember) offers the tvs 1900 for the ls2 cts-v, without hood modification. But they want 10k for it and the car there to do install.
I do have a powerdome hood already, so clearance shouldn't be an issue for me.

TVS has been done. I think vette2k (can't remember his screen name) has a kit in progress so you may want to check with him. TVS 2300 is also possible.

I don't think any will have hood clearance issues on the LS2.

It's mostly been done by folks that changed heads to the rectangular LS3 ports, though, I believe? A TVS 1900 kit for roughly the same price as an MP112 kit would be awesome.

Re: Gto TVS 1900 on an ls2 CTS-V?

I looked into the same thing but gave up in frustration...nobody wanted to play ball on this one. The LS2 kit for the C6 (by kit I mean just the blower & manifold with the tensioner and bracket only) might fit better if the GTO setup is found to have a different crank pulley depth, which I remember being an issue. No other parts of either kit would transfer to our cars except for the programmer and Magnaboost which are junk anyhow.

The other issue that was pointed out by Ryan at BEHE was that there may not be enough room against the firewall/under the wiper module for the proper pulleys...that is why we cannot have the 1:1 pulley's installed on our 112's like the GTO's. This might be overcome with custom pulley's though.

I would build a HEX system for this from aftermarket parts vice trying to cobble something together from Magnuson, it would be a lot cheaper and probably work better. I have a few idea's about this on the cheap if you're interested. Our 112 IAT's are nothing to write home about.

I did not have the time or patience to make this a reality and installed the 112 kit on mine last month. While I am happy so far, I would sell it in a heart beat to get a 1900-2300 on there.

Keep us informed on how this works out for you, there may be a few of us who will follow your lead on this. I just hope someone will want my 112 kit at that point!

    Good luck!

There will be hood issues on a TVS2300
Why go 1900 when the 2300 is just that much better

Take a look we just finished a 605RWHP 04 CTSV
Customer figured he would step up to a 400CI later and now has all the parts in place

Still a 605RW CTSV is not your daddys caddy

Why go TVS when you can get a whipple with better efficiency and bigger growth potential.

    Never ends...

You guys did an incredible job on that project, 605 WHP is a truly incredible number on a stock short block.

The only problem is that not everyone has an LS2 to throw the L92 heads on or the funds to get the trick Mast rectangular port heads that you guys used in your build. The introduction of the cathedral port manifold makes this a somewhat realistic option now.

Now that you spoke up, what application did you guys use? Camaro, C6, G8? Did you guys run into any interference in the rear at the firewall, and what pulley's did you use? How about the accessory drive, any complications? What did you guys do with the HEX? Anything you guys would have done differently?

    Don't leave us hanging now!

Vetteboy2k has some good info on this and currently has a tvs1900 on his ls2. This is the way I am going to go.
Without spilling the beans it is very easy to do even though the is technically no " kit" for the CTS-V

Would those fuel rail covers fit on a stock LS2 V w/MP-112 or will they only fit with the different heads?
    I think you should give me those covers . . . . cause . . uh . . your're a nice guy and I need them.

Tommy. I've been waiting/wanting to do the Tvs1900 on MY Ls2 as well.... So I'm very interesting in the parts list that you come up with.

    Good luck sir.
