I'm new to the whole return-less fuel system, I've always had a regulator on the return line on previous cars. My question is, how do our cars control fuel pressure? Is there a regulator in the tank or feed line somewhere, or is it electronically controlled by voltage to the pump?
This weekend I plan to replace my fuel pump with something like the Ford GT pump, a solid 310 lph which should be enough for at least 550whp on e85. I'm curious how this type of pump is going to affect my fuel pressure. I'll be getting a tune, but I need to drive to the dyno with the new pump installed.
I'll post up pics of the trap door I make under the seat, I got diagrams and pics of the tank and figured out where I need to cut.
