    Painting the B&B Exhaust?

Was drooling over the photos again this morning of the B&B Exhaust. Here's a question for everyone - Do you think the rear view of the V would look better if the back of the muffler were painted a flat black (like the stock is) to hide it better? Debating what I'm going to do to mine when the exhaust shows up. Leaning towards leaving it polished.

Leave'em polished... you paid for pure stainless, so why not show it off a bit.

Red? lol. Still debating about painting the rear vertical panel of the muffler can a lovely shade of semi-gloss black.

I was kidding :rolleyes2 I think on a platinum car the polished is going to look really good, on a black, the cans might look better black. I'm just glad we have rectangular cans an not round. The round cans to me look ricer.

    StealthV -

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have plenty of black matte photo board laying around, so figured I would come some templates after installing the exhaust and mock them up in place to compare. If I like it, I'll consider painting just the rear panel as you have suggested. I'll post pics if you like for comparison. Seems like the flat black on the back panel MIGHT make it more stealth on a black car?

I would leave it Polished. Call me crazy but I love S.S. and polished it's gorgeous. I have a platinum but even if it was black I would still leave it polished.

I've actually got my V-grill painted black, but was waiting for the rest of my mods to finish before I post pictures. I'll put up pictures when I get home.
