I don't think I can say the actual price, but I will say that they are less than $400 for all four rotors.

Re: Brakes stock vs aftermarket for DD

I have trinet rotors (black coated, slotted, vented, drilled - whirwind pattern) on my V with EBC yellows. Works better than stock, dusts a bit more. I love em.

By the way, OC Autosports owns Trinet. The owner is a real nice guy, yet another performance company looking into Hot Rod SEO.

Tweeter81, wow LESS than $400 for all four is a GREAT price.
I like the slotted rotor (but not drilled) heard too many stories of cracked drilled rotors on the track.

Q: have your rec'd them? how many miles? any track use yet?
you got these from OC AutoSports?
pictures?

CTS-Voodoo thanks for loading pictures...
Q: can you say what you paid for them?
Q: I like the slotted, I'm concerned about the drilled.. developing cracks, did OC Autoports address that? do you track your V?

I dont track my V, if I did it a lot I would have picked up slotted vented rotors. I paid whatever the ebay special at the time was. I don't think getting the black coating made a difference in price but man does it make those slots/holes pop!-The brakes are a borderline appearance mod.

Seriously cant say enough great things though. The EBC yellows stop harder than anything I've ever stomped on. There is no vibration, very very minor squeakage, if any. Keep in mind these pads have a break in coating and Im about 100 miles in on them.

My OC Autosports/Trinet (this was news to me) D/S rotors look exactly like the ones pictured above. Click on my forum name to see my photo albums.

I have had the rotors on since May 2009 and I put probably 750 miles on them. About 700 of those miles were on the street and probably 50 miles were on the track.

I ran the crap out of my car @ Pueblo Motorsports Park at the end of the summer. I had these rotors on and I just crossed my fingers and prayed that they would hold up to a hard track day.

Long story short, I was extremely impressed. My brake setup seemed to stop the car slightly better than the stock setup (although that could be just because the pads and rotors were brand new). The brakes seemed to get pretty hot (it was 92 degrees that day) after 15-20 minute lapping sessions, but I never had even a hint of fade, and the rotors held up great. After every session I would examine the cross-drill holes closely and did not see any cracking. I drove the car home the 450 miles the next day and had no problems (no warped rotors or vibrations of any kind) and have not noticed any problems with cracking or anything since the track day, although I have now put my car in storage for the winter.

One negative: The Hawk HP+ pads squeal like a banshee at low speeds around town. They did not squeal that bad until after the track day, now they are super-annoying. The squealing gets much quieter/almost disappears for a bit after I wash the car, but as soon as a bit of dust hits the rotors it is squeal city. Basically, though I am willing to live with that because of the great performance increase (which can even actually be felt on the street).

To sum this up, I would say that the rotors I have are stout enough and a good enough quality to hold up at a track day (maybe two) based on my personal experience, but I would not push them any more than that. I think the repeated super-heating and cooling that happens during and after a full track day would eventually be the end of these rotors. If you mostly use the car on the street and only do a track day once in a blue moon, then I think these rotors could work really well for you.

Disclaimer: I have no stake in these rotors or the company that sells them, I just had a great customer service experience from them and got a great-performing and very reasonably-priced product too.

I might have to look into the EBCs, see my post above about HP+ squealing.

Voodoo, do you run these pads on all 4 corners?

If you don't mindspending $100 for a set of four, try Ti Speed brake shims. My HP+ are squeel free and
the shims are great for keeping the brakes cool. They are titanium
