As the pulls went by, you could hear the V was getting hotter and that it didn't like the heat. Just speculation on my part, but the first pull probably would have set the best numbers of the day if allowed a full pull as it sounded the best on that one.
Definitely need to work on my custom CAI design and feed some cold air into her.
Only thing not stock on mine is the Z06 fuel rail covers which perhaps helps a bit with trapping less heat over the intake manifold. Agree on the power being there, I think I got one of the media "ringer" cars, lol.
Great numbers, I think 341 is the strongest dyno I've seen yet and looks like a solid LS6 Car! FWIW on my TA I noticed greater heat soak (maybe of the coil packs) when I had the covers on and picked up 5 RWHP when I pulled them off (that is while doing back to back runs). On a first or second run it really didn't make any difference. That said the cowl of an F-Body over hangs the motor so there is less airflow. not sure it's that big of a factor on a V or not. I'll have to take a closer look when I get more time but ~15 RWHP between 2 and 3 worry me since the intake temps are the same. You may want to post this over at LS1Tech since the have some Gurus over there that can probably disect those runs much better than I ever could.

Sorry, made a typo on run 3: the intake air temp was 97, not 95 which in itself isn't enough to explain the HP difference.
For some reason on run 3 (heat soak ) the timing was 15-18* for most of the pull and peaked out at 19.5* around 6000 RPM. Compared to pulls 1 & 2 where the timing was pushing 29* up until about ~3700 and started backing down to 21* as it climbed higher up the rev band.
That lost spark advance in pulls 3, 4 & 5 caused the power loss - over 14 degrees less advance than the first two pulls. Just need to figure out what caused it now.
