Broke the Crank Pulley last night

While in the process of pulling the crank pulley, we snapped off some of the ribs.

    That being said.....

Anyone know if they are car specific? I can get my hands on a vette pulley and a firebird/camaro pulley, but I am not sure they are the right ones.

Does anyone have the part number for stock are ATI?

The F-body and Y-body are different and will not interchange. The pulley offset is different. You will need a Y-body pulley (vette) I may have a stock one lay around off my V. I could look for you if you want?

I thought the Vette pulleys were different than ours. Not that I know much, just thought I read it somewhere.

So is that a C5 pulley then? I can get my hands on either pulley. I just need to know which one.

    Thanks

Thanks! I called a GM dealer same time I was posting on here and got the same info. Appreciate all your help. Good thing I have Vette buddies.... got one for free. Hopefully have it all back together late tonight, early tomorrow.

I might have missed it somewhere else, but why did you pull the crank pulley off?

I think one of the grippers slipped a little bit. They were not long enough to get all the way to the back of the pulley so we used the lip that was between the A/C and accessories.

To take the front cover off to change cam shafts
