Thanks. Anyone tried the 28 lb flywheel or is everyone springing for the 18 lb?

how high did you have to get the jack stands? i was thinking of using my wheel ramps but it seems that might not be high enough.

Ramps won't be near high enough. A good 2 or 2 1/2 feet off the ground will get it high enough.

With additional tuning, I bet you can get them to drop a lot faster. Nice write-up Lolly.

Thanks a ton for the write up Shane!

I'm very excited about the Cadillac CTS-V's, these cars are excellent in many ways and are often overlooked. You did an excellent write up on the install, thanks again!

Nice to see you back on the board Steve. Got my clutch and hopefully it will be going in soon. Also kudos to Matt and your company for all the great help you provided me. I sure hope I like my clutch as much as the other guys!

Wow, guess you need a really tall jack. Did you order a new clutch?

    Re: Monster Clutch Install

Oh dang man....you have a nice scissor jack with the trans holder and everything. Now I'm jealous

I was just using a regular old floor jack, so mine wasn't as tall as yours. I don't think the ramps are making it any easier on you. (lower)

Can't you get your jack stands any higher man? Do you have a harbor freight around you? I dont like foreign shit, but they have tall stands for cheap.

Oh, and make sure you get a remote line....you will thank youself later! LAPD has a nice one.

That pic looks like you took the input shaft out.....?

I think that's an optical illusion- I see a notch in the case, probably for the pressure line to exit.

+1 to that... it's a must IMO, unless you are keeping you CTS-V slave
