MescalVto, Technically this thread is about the trans mount, but the motor mounts and transmission mounts seem to go hand in hand as far as the need to be replaced goes. Both are junk from the factory. Max

I couldn't believe how fast I got my mounts and I can't wait to get them installed. I am waiting on my guy to install but it should be some time next week.

I finally got my mounts done on Friday. I am very pleased with the difference this made. I love being able to put my car in 1st gear from a stop without all the drama. I notice some noise and little vibration, but it just feels like more of a sports car feel to me now.

I would recommend this mod to any one who hasn't done it already!!

Yip, the trans mount will work for the 04-06. Anyone know if the 07 is the same, probably is the same.

Max - To be clear, I was asking about the Pontiac GTO (there is no '07 GTO, only 04-06 - '04's have the LS1 motor, and 05's/06's have the LS2).
