    @#$^!* UUC Transmission Mount

    WTF UUC!??!?!
Here we go again.....now they've gotten me twice. Once, with the motor mounts, now this. I should've stayed with the f'n stock trans mount.

Luke, I'm guessing they don't have a version 2 of this like the motor mounts?? This is ridiculous. I know it's not your fault, but dammit this is my 2nd PITA from them.

Mine turned but they cant pull out. I put a few tack welds to keep them from spinning. I did however have my UUC seperate! I reinstalled my factory mount and sent all the UUC crap back.

Oh no, why is the first I'm hearing of this? Did your tranny mount go at the same time the motor mounts went?

The amount of transferred noise with true solid mounts would make it near unbearable for a daily driver. It would be similar to a kars kit without isolator bushings.

    Re: @#$^!* UUC Transmission Mount

There was NOTHING wrong with my stock trans mount. I'm an idiot for trying to upgrade. I'm going to put my stock mount back in.

That UUC trans mount bolt twists in the urethane (exactly like the gen 1 motor mounts...which they cam out with a fix for) That was right when I installed it....didn't even start the f'n car yet.

I noticed them about the same time. I saw the corner seperated and I grabbed it and pulled the two about halfway apart with my hands. No mechanical stops in theirs. I could have pulled them all the way apart but stopped at half way. I sent it to Luke and just put my perfectly good stock mount back in.

i'm going to go this route and pour the stocker( might mouse way)

seems like it will give just a bit more stability and its cheap.

You can buy some 3M black window urethane. Thats what most people use and it sets up hard and is still flexable. I dont know if you have a Steve's Wholesale Tools but you can get it there if you do.

We don't have any of those, but I'll try looking for some of that, or something like it. Thanks boss!
