Here are the photos of the 2 transmission mounts for comparison purposes. I will be installing the Ultra Mounts version tomorrow and I will make a new thread with a review similar to my review of their motor mounts.

Interesting difference. The one thing that kind of bothered me with the UUC tranny mount was the bolts started to spin inside the poly when I torqued down the nuts. Hopefully that doesn't cause any problems with the bolts pulling out of the poly, I did snug them down secure, so I guess we'll see.

that IS a problem that their Gen 1 motor mounts had as well...

Yes I have read that, I don't think the problem with the tranny mount will have the same effect seeing as there is a metal bracket. But i'm not sure how far the bolts are sunk into the poly, or if the head of the bolts just rest against the lower bracket.

I find the lack of a positive stop on both of those mounts disappointing.

From what I understand there is some sort of hook/loop mechanism inside of Ultra Mounts trans/motor mounts.

You can clearly see were something was welded to the metal on the creative steel mount. You can see the discoloration in the metal. There is something in there!

Yeah, that was what I noticed. Gotta tell ya, UUC is looking more and more like cadillac dealership parts to me. Yeah they work, but do you really want to pay 6 grand for wheels and tires?

I need to get in contact with these guys and order the whole setup..

Hmmm...this poses the question...all UUC mounts or all CS with a UUC axle bushing...

Well, now there are multiple reported cases of UUC mounts (both motor and transmission) breaking...choice should be easy for $100+ less for the full set.

DO NOT go UUC trans mount, it's a turd. See my @#&$@(#$)% UUC Trans Mount thread.....the f'n stud just turns in it.

How much is this Creative Trans Mount? And how much did it translate vibrations?
