Hopefully that was a typo, and you've moved backup to full badass

Hendrix ??? received the axle nuts today, thanks Thomas and Hendrix to the rescue. I should be installing this weekend. I decided to change the diff fluid and through research of previous threads, I have decided to go with Torco RGO 85W/140 w/ limited slip additive. Any one else using this stuff??

The Hendrix Pro axles are installed and everything is working well. Installed new cross drilled rear rotors, Hawk HPS pads and changed the diff fluid with Torco 85/140. Did a couple of clutch dumps and we are ready for Friday at the strip. I will post IMPROVED E.T.'s this weekend, I hope to not dissapoint myself. |

I consider the Hendrix Pro axle mod a success. With a little more seat time, ET's will come down. I experienced zero wheel hop on my 4 passes. The car launches different, so first two didn't count, LOL. Second two were getting better. 60 ft 2.203, 13.495 @ 107. Last pass was better, but the ticket machine was busted, so no record information. 109 @ 13.40's.
Convinced my friend to bring his pulleyed, full exhaust, tuned 09 V2. First time to the strip for him. WOW. I wish the first time I ever went to the drag strip someone handed me a 640 HP racecar. His car IS fast and his times do not reflect the capabilities of his car. We coached him to a mild 12.82 spinning and rev limiting 1st & 2nd. Care is a BEAST and sounds FN awesome with his handbuilt LT headers and exhaust. Once he gets the hang of it and some drag radials, his time will definitely improve. On the HWY, from a 60 stomp, there is I dare say, very, very few cars that run as strong as a V2 with those upgrades.
Back at it again December 6th. |
