    looking for cat delete

So I have stock LS2 manifolds, stock cats, and stock cat back.

I'm wanting to rule out some heat issues I've got.... So I'm looking for some direct OEM replacement bolt in cat deletes, not changing flanges... just tossing it in.

I know there are plenty for the header crowd... but I have not seen any posts for a stock setup... anyone care to point me in the right direction?

Again, just looking for cat delete off road pipes for LS2 manifolds and stock cat back.

    Thanks in advance

Check Truebendz, they made a set for a member here using my cats to do the mock up. I'm sure they still have the plans somewhere. You get my PM about that wheel?

Ted. You can have it if you delete my rear O2 sensors w/ your HP tuners.. if/when I delete these cats

I suppose I could also just buy a set of LS2 cats and cut them out myself and weld in a pipe... anyone w/ headers want to sell me their LS2 cats?

If the LS2 and LS6 cat's are the same I have a set of LS6 cats for ya. I'm pretty sure they are the same!

let me send you a couple pics to make sure you want it... It's got some rash and I media blasted it, then tried different polishing and sand papers on it to see if I could make some polished OEM stockers.... so it's far from pretty.... in fact I think you could say it was beaten with the ugly stick.

If you have some OEM cats that would be great... I seem to recall that they are different...... where is darkman when you need him? I wish he had a signal light like batman....

calling darkman.... or anyone else who might know if 04-05 cats are the same flanges and dimensions as the 06-07..... someone? anyone?

I do not know for sure whether the LS2 cats are the same as the LS6. The picture below is of the LS6 cats. Random Tech shows their cat for a 2004-2005, but there listing is silent on 2006-2007.

    Amazing. I don't even need a searchlight!.

I'll take a gander under the car and see if it's close.... I suppose I could ping Luke for part numbers. If memory serves me correctly I think the part numbers were different somehow.

Rock Auto does not carry the cats, but they show different part numbers for the O2 sensors 2005 vs. 2007.

aww part #s are different so no dice.. I'll have to find some LS2 cats..... you could core them out Ted... I think they'll give you 40-60 bucks for the internals of the cats.

I would talk to Luke man, I am almost sure that the exhaust's are the same from manifold back on the LS6 and LS2. I know the o2 are different but that is because of the difference in PCMs.

You are probably right - I just checked GMPartsDirect and the MRSPs for 2005 and 2007 catalytic converters are the same. (Left and Right are different from one another).
