And on the flip; to be fair to others Thomas, people have the right to voice their opinions. IF THEY HAVE SOLID EVIDENCE AGAINST YOUR PRODUCT. So far, no one has come through with any hard facts against your axles. If they do though, they will be allowed to post. That is part of capitalism.
But none of this "I heard from some guy at the track..." "I read on another forum..." "Some online magazine said..." None of that is going to fly here.
If you have a CTS-V with these axles, post your results. If you are in the market for these axles, read through these threads. If you don't meet either of these parameters, stay out of these threads.
I have no problem with the truth, thats what sets me apart from the others
where were all these other companies since 04 when the v was released.... this goes for thomas as well. if they are all so high quality shops, why was the community avoided until this spring? and why did gforce wait till this summer to arrive?
If i had my car since 04 i would have been f'ing pissed having to wait for all of this.
Because the solution wasn't known until GM found it during the development of the 09 CTS-V. Once you KNOW that offset axle diameters will do the trick, it's not hard to determine exactly what diameter/stiffness is required.
Wheel hop is a very complex phenomenon, not many aftermarket companies have the capabilities of engineering this solution on their own, especially when most people were focused on braces, bushings, and suspension parts to fix the issue.
