    My car still sounds better Well it did anyway lol My blower is off getting fixed but the guy stopped returning my emails a week ago. Anybody near Decatur GA want to go kick some ass?

    He said it would ship out last monday. Somebody probably got a hell of deal for a CTS-V maggie lol I'm seriously going to go down there if he doesn't come up with something. Its a 12 hour drive. I can make it 8 : )

    With a blower you could do it even quicker.

    Low RPM, Magnaflow probably sounds more like a beast than Corsa. B&B should beat them both in this department. Keep in mind, Magnaflow is half the price of the others.
    Exhaust is a preferance thing, but no way does Corsa sound like an F1 car.

    For the price of a B&B, you can get headers, and a tune from Jesse.
    Headers + tune = 30hp
    Exhaust (anyone) = 5hp (my guess)

    Tony speaks truth.

    Both Magnaflow and Corsa plus Kooks will turn heads at idle. GREAT idle, let me tell you but still somewhat civilized. B&B will turn people's heads around 360 deg.

    Magnaflow and Corsa are 2.5" diameter, whereas B&B (not including touring option) is 3" front to back.


    Kooks plus Magnaflow/Corsa plus tune ~27 rwhp.

    B&B plus B&B 3" plus tune ~30 rwhp.



    Bottomline, IMHO: You can't go wrong with headers and an aftermarket exhaust. Do it for the sound alone; the rest is icing on the cake.
    '05 CTS-V, Maggie, Kooks, Hotchkis, Ground Control, Corsa, B&M, DSS/Hendrix, Full 3M Clear Bra, Autovation, V Headrests, CTS Console, STS-V 55w Fogs, Black Vette FRCs, Specter Werkes, Katech LS9 Clutch, SS Brake Lines, Heavymetals U-Turn Fuel Line Eliminator, Momo Combat Evo Shift Knob, Wldwhl Clear Sidemarkers, Linea Corse LC855 Wheels or OEM wheels w/'06-'07 Center Caps, plus a couple more. 472 RWHP/411 RWTQ (Mustang Dyno).

    If you want to go cost effective, just do a muffler delete. It gives off a great grumble at low rpms and past 3-3500k, the motor takes over the exhaust tone. Probably the best mod you can do if you want that muscle sound without being too loud.

    Crash- You and I are having the same dilemma and I have the exact same taste in sound. Decide on anything yet?



    Anyone ever run Borla? I've heard a few clips of it and it sounds like stingers for the vettes imo. I had a C5 with B&B Bullets and it was loud and sounded badass but I want something a little more refined for my V. Any input on the Borla?

    ok here's my 2004 LS6 xipipe, K&N CAI, W4M chip, stock exhaust manifolds with magnaflow 4" round #10416 mufflers
    I like it....especially on start up...
