    B&M Shifter Product # For T56?

    #45053 Universal T-56 transmission

I found this on the B&M website. Does this mean that it will work for our cars? Because there is no doubt in my mind that it would be much cheaper than Mallett. Hopefully it can.

I haven't been able to get a good look at the top of the t56 to see exactly how our shifter rods meet up with the tranny but it is different than that of a vette or camaro. I did call Hurst and B&M, both denied any products in the future for our cars.

All I have to say is, I hope all these manufactuer's are reading these forums and posts because there seems to be plenty enough demand for all the aftermarket performance parts for the V.

I posted this before. We have a remote shifter. Its not bolted to the trans in a conventional manner. Its bolter to the tunnel

I waited on hold FOREVER with B&M and asked if I could use the generic shifter and was told no. And was also told they don't currently have plans for a CTS-V version. That's why I order a Mallett shifter today.
