    Another Short Throw Shifter question...TPIS?

Hello everyone, while the foot is broke and the car is parked in the garage for 3 more weeks at least, I've been planning some things. I was researching something for a friend and came across the TPiS short throw shifter, where they modifiy the stock shifter for $100. I found a link where a member did this upgrade along with Lindsey's bushings. He gave it fantastic reviews. At $100 that's an awesome path. I was going to buy a UUC, then found this. Does anyone have opinions on this. I am being pulled towards this path for obvious reasons, but I'd like to know everyone's opinion on this. Thanks.

I've heard good reviews of the TPIS modification of the stock shifter and I think it's a great option since you car will be down for a while.

When you weigh the price of the ?$380? UUC, I think it's a no brainer to go TPIS.

I was totally UUC bound, then when I saw this, it got me thinking. I have TPIS components on my Vette and never even thought of looking to them. I figure with Lindsey's bushings, it's got to be equivalent or close to the UUC.
