Mallett is not using headers on his Mallett-V due to smog / 50-state emissions reasons... he is porting the stock exhaust manifold (and still getting 400rwhp out of his package).
Though he is pretty paranoid about noise on that car... he had Corsa custom design a V exhuast for him, as he felt their (up-coming) V exhaust system was too loud...
