    I give up.

Seriously, I give the **** up.

Don't buy used QA1s. I need bumpstops. I haven't had a correctly driving V for 10 months now. My feeble mind is too weak to figure out how the **** to make anything work correctly. I messed up my FG2 dustshields to make them fit the QA1s but I did that incorrectly.

I can drive the car but I can't track it. And I'm out of time. I'm suppose to be halfway across the state right now, but instead I'm at home in front of the computer trying to figure out what to do. I don't have time the rest of the weekend for my V and all next week is the SHO Convention, which I'm helping run.

So unless I can find the proper bump stop for the QA1 and get it by Tuesday morning, I'll have paid for, and missed, my third straight track day.

If it's any consolation, I would have given up a long time ago.

Ask Ernie how many track days he has missed waiting for his Mallet to get done.

He is pushing close to a year.

Switch the cans, put a UUC shifter in it, then leave it the hell alone and drive it.

Tony you almost have to join MOD HELL if you want a decent track car.

Either that or buy one, but then you can't street it (generally).

My visual mods were the only trouble free ones. Jim says chrome is American rice, so I guess I'm 2fast2furious now.

Do you still need measurements? I have a set of FE4s sitting in my garage I can go disassemble.

I agree with Tony on this one. No matter how little of a mod you do....

I did hotchkis bars. The POs's haven't stopped making noise since they were installed, and I'm on my third set of brackets. I have new coilovers sitting in the box, to be installed Aug. 4th. God damn Vday. I forgot to bring my mod bug off.

On an FE4 rear shock the rod measures 0.392 inch in diameter. This necks down to 0.350 inch diameter for the last 1.450 inch of rod length for the threads and tip.
