    Gforce Engineering half shafts

    Hi guys,

A bunch of you have asked me to design this or that for the CTS-v platform and it looks like I will finally get a breather to do just that.
I'll try and round me up some OEM half shafts and a driveshaft to see what can be improved on.

    Thanks
    Chris - Gforce1320

maybe you can try to make us an affordable 3" catback, or maybe a 1 piece drive shaft. it might would be more useful for those things since no one has touched those parts yet.

I'd be interested in making the driveshafts but not really the cat-back (but you never know).

    Thanks
    Chris

Drive shaft would be nice. Nobody that I know of makes them anymore for the V.

Will your halfshafts eliminate wheel hop like the ones from DSS and Hendrix Engineering? Will they be more affordable? The cost thing is really what is holding most of us back from the new axles right now.

I agree as well. Those are at the top of my list for sure, but they are just so expensive ...and I'm not a very good saver when it comes to this car...

If you're taking votes, I vote for halfshafts that stop wheelhop like Hendrix's, BUT cheaper.

The reason the Hendrix axles are so expensive is because they are made to withstand 1000 hp. MY V WILL NEVER HAVE 1000 HP! I don't need that kind of strength for that kind of $$$.

Gimme something that will withstand 600-700 hp at a reasonable price.

I also have a driveshaft that I would be willing to part with.. it's a pretty expensive OEM part so we'd work something out.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll send you my email

    Re: Gforce Engineering half shafts

I see on your website that you sell single half shafts as well as the set. I know that some members here have successfully run only the driver side and it has elimintaed wheel hop on the CTS-V. Hendrix doesn't sell singles because it is thought to cause undue stress on the other half shaft.

It would depend on your R&D of course, but a safe single half shaft wheel hop fix for around $450-$500 isn't beyond the realm of possibility is it?
