Gforce - let me know when you have axles ready. Might be interested in a driveshaft as well, you going aluminum one piece?

The dana rears need halfshafts that work with them. I might suggest you sell them as a total bolt in kit: driveshaft, coupler, differential, axles. This way you wont have to use a viper rear with cut down vette half shafts and porsche CVs. Let me know what you come up with there as well, Im about to tear the motor out of my V and were wondering how many minutes itll take to blow the stock rear with the new additions....

It takes longer than a week to make axles from scratch. Give the man some time.

    Re: Gforce Engineering half shafts

I recieved a set of stockers yesterday and got them tore down.
Man, not my idea of an axle I would have put in a heavy caddie but I guess GM had thier reasons, LOL

Let me look at a few options and I'll do a few simulated runs though the machine shop to see what will keep the cost down as much as possible.
I hope to have pricing and availability in a week.

And yes, it takes time to design and manufacter a line of axles and do it right the first time

It usually takes 4-5 weeks from start to finish on running a batch of axles through the machine shop, heat treat and then corrosion treatment.

    I'll keep ya all posted.

If anyone has a set of 06-07 half shafts, I would like a pair of those as well. The ones I got are 04 axles.

    Thanks
    Chris

Ok guys, the prototype design is done. Now I just have to run a few sets through the machine shop.
Will probably be another 3-4 weeks before I have much to report.
It takes a while to get a new product out but the wait will be well worth it

I'll be offering both sides if you want. No pricing yet but it'll be affordable.

I dont have solid pricing yet but yea, it wont be that much. Especialy if you swap the axles out yourself.
