It will make it a little easier. I put the UUC's in and took them out with the starter in place so I know it can be done. As for the exhaust, I had my headers removed already so I really can't comment other than to say one guy that purchased my mounts installed them with headers still in place. Personally, I would just remove the manifolds/headers because the extra time spent trying to maneuver around them and get to all the bolts would not be worth it.

Yes the headers had to be removed. Once they were out of the way the rest was easy.
