Buying Corsa Cans

Can you buy just the corsa mufflers? I see on the site that you can buy the DB series mufflers (universal fit), but does any one know a way to buy the CTS-V mufflers (part #?).

Talked with someone at Corsa and he said he could sell me the replacement mufflers if I had a set that were damaged. I don't have those though. Any info would be great.

Re: Buying Corsa Cans

I bought just the mufflers for a Magnaflow system through Summit Racing, but it was tough work figuring out which if their "universal" part numbers was the one used in their CTS-V catback system. They didn't seem real eager to tell me, and I'm not surprised Corsa is the same way.

Re: Buying Corsa Cans

Bassani is the same way. They wouldn't sell me just the mufflers off there cat back system. In the end I just went to Magnaflow's website and bought the smallest center/offset mufflers they had along with there universal X-pipe. I am very happy with the end result.
Corsa will try to feed you a line of bull that there exhaust system is all computer designed for sound wave cancellation, and that there is no such thing as a universal muffler
Just buy some magnaflows with some nice tips and go to town.

Re: Buying Corsa Cans

I have a magnaflow cat back system now. Long story short...one of my mufflers came unhooked(worked itself loose) the other day and I absolutely loved the sound when it happend. I know Corsa is a little louder so was thinking of buying the corsa mufflers. Maybe I'll just get some tips and gut the stockers I have hanging up. Thanks for the input.

Re: Buying Corsa Cans

If you liked the sound without the muffler, just run some straight pipes from the diff back and weld tips on the end. A lot cheaper than Corsas, and it'll still sound deep- the Corsas have a little rasp to them.
